SHARE Boston is part of a global network of Swiss Science & Technology Offices (STO) and forms, together with the Office of Science and Technology of the Swiss Embassy in Washington D.C. and the swissnex in San Francisco, the official Swiss Science Network in North America, which has additional presences at the Swiss Embassy in Washington D. C. and at the Swiss Consulate General in San Francisco, operating under the name of swissnex in separate premises.

According to its particular mission, SHARE Boston does not issue passports or visas. Information about these services is available from the Embassy of Switzerland, Washington D.C.

Swissnex in San Francisco

Swissnex is an annex of the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco.

Located in the heart of San Francisco, Swissnex was initiated by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research (SER) as a public-private venture, and managed in cooperation with the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs.

Swissnex connects the best of many worlds by bridging the knowledge, energy and competences of Switzerland, the U.S.A. and Canada. It offers workshops, learning tours, exhibits, one-to-one meetings, road shows, video-conferences, and symposiums.
