Welcome to the Swiss-American Council of Women — an organization whose members understand the value of and take joy in helping other women reach their personal and professionals goals — however they may define them.

The importance of building international communities of learning, networking, support and mentoring — both online and offline — has never been more significant. In today's fast paced, global economy, the collective benefits of sharing best practices, information, ideas and know-how can only be achieved through the power of the combined synergies of our international community.

It is in this spirit that the Swiss-American Council of Women, Inc was established to serve as a non-profit organization helping to strengthen and promote the international role and leadership of women in our communities. We provide a professional, transatlantic platform to serve as a clearinghouse of information, resources, and support to create opportunities for women and build awareness in our communities about issues that impact the lives of women. Our hope is to contribute to a healthier, more egalitarian and prosperous global economy by strengthening the international role and leadership of women.

To this end, we aspire to function along the lines of a think tank, working with partners to cultivate awareness in our community, encourage entrepreneurialism, address issues of concern to women, and generate projects and programs that support and strengthen the role and leadership of women in all faculties.

• Members are Men and Women from all nationalities dedicated to make a difference in strengthening the leadership of Swiss Women and fostering existing ties between the "Sister Republics" of Switzerland and the United States.

• We address issues that impact the lives of women and seek solutions that make a difference.

• Members aspire to and are motivated to fulfill their personal and professional potential through discussions, international networking, and access to new opportunities.
